QA Manual Tester - QTech Games

Overview

We are looking for a new specialist to join our successful platform team, a QA Manual tester, who wants to have the opportunity to work with an interesting product and with a great team.

As our QA Manual Tester, you will be responsible for validating and verifying our distribution platform that may encompass the back office, integrations and mobile . You will be collaborating with a small team of skilled software engineers and product managers to develop and translate business goals into high quality, reliable and scalable technology. You must be structured and organized and be able to communicate and collaborate effectively. You will be part of a high performance and agile organization where simplicity, delivery and discovery are the key elements.

Your responsibilities will include:

● Participate in product design and releases to ensure high quality and a great user experience.

● Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases.

● Test mobile and website applications to ensure they meet quality standards for clients.

● Identify defects & bugs and work with developers to resolve them. Work closely with the development team to quickly isolate, record and report issues.

● Collaborate with other teams to ensure software meets user requirements and is delivered on time.

● Perform regression testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for products.

● Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.)

Experience needed:

● 2+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing

● Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

● Experienced in mobile testing.

● Strong knowledge of Android and iOS mobile platforms

● Attention to detail. Ability to create, manage and follow test plans and scripts.

● Good knowledge and/or experience of the following:

- Atlassian products, such as JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket or equivalent to aforementioned tools.
- Agile methodology, such as SCRUM

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

● Ability to work both collaboratively and with limited supervision.

Desirable Skills:

● Continuous delivery

● Exposure to implementing UI automation using Robot Framework and Selenium

● Experience in high performance, high availability systems.
