QA Engineer - Manual w/ Automation (Robot Framework)

Overview

We are looking for a QA Engineer with hands-on experience in Robot Framework who can support both manual testing and test automation. This role is work-from-home (WFH) and is ideal for someone who understands that automation complements manual testing, and is comfortable doing hands-on testing while gradually expanding automation coverage.

Your responsibilities will include:

Perform manual testing for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes
Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases and test scenarios
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework
Identify which test cases are suitable for automation and which require manual testing
Execute regression testing (manual and automated) before releases
Investigate, document, and track defects using the team’s bug tracking tools
Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and other QAs
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Support CI/CD test execution and help analyze automation test results
Continuously improve testing processes and test coverage

Experience needed:

Proven experience as a QA Engineer (manual and automation)
Hands-on experience with Robot Framework
Strong background in manual testing (functional, regression, exploratory)
Experience in writing clear test cases and bug reports
Understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC
Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git)
Reliable, high-speed internet connection suitable for remote work
Good communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

Experience with Playwright
Experience with API testing
Experience integrating automation tests with CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to performance or security testing
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
