Junior Accountant - QTech Games

Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in the fast-paced iGaming industry. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their career in accounting while gaining valuable industry-specific experience. The successful candidate will support day-to-day financial operations, assist in the preparation of financial reports, and help maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately.

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice verification and reconciliations.

• Perform monthly bank and intercompany reconciliations.

• Help with the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts and reports.

• Support the preparation of VAT returns and regulatory filings.

• Maintain financial records and documentation in an organized and timely manner.

• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Communicate with internal departments and external partners to resolve discrepancies or gather information.

• Stay up to date with financial regulations and trends specific to the iGaming industry.

• Any other tasks which management may deem necessary to the operation.

Experience needed:

• Studying for or successfully obtained a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Currently pursuing or intention to pursue ACCA or a similar qualification is preferred.

• 1+ year of experience in an accounting or finance role is beneficial (iGaming experience is considered a strong asset).

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero,

Sage, QuickBooks, or similar).• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Good command of English, both written and verbal.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with conducting reconciliations and multi-currency environments.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the iGaming industry (e.g., MGA, AML regulations).

• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a multicultural environment.
